Central Europe
Central Europe has always been a significant cultural crossroad, an important place where Germanic and Slavic cultures used to meet. Due to the fact this region, which has been inhabited by various smaller as well as bigger nations for centuries, it yields a unique mosaic of customs, traditions, architecture and cultures. On our tours, we will visit beautiful seats of emperors, kings and wealthy people with a large number of unique art works and historical sites. A large number of well preserved fortified castles, fortresses and forts, as well as visible remains of the iron curtain are the proof of the fact that life in the heart of Europe had not always been without problems. Visiting the old-time towns and villages will show us the life of ordinary people. Concentration of historical sites in this region is one of the highest in whole Europe – so there are interesting places wherever you look!
Riding a bike does not mean only visiting interesting sites, but primarily movement in the nature! Central Europe is very diverse in this area and we will visit several national parks with exceptionally well-preserved nature, rich in fauna and flora. Climatic conditions are very favorable for biking so we can move through nicely green countryside with blooming meadows and well-maintained forests, which cover one third of the region.
During our venture, we will taste many specialties of the local cuisine, but primarily we will move through a region which is famous for the world-wide known beer production. It is a place of great wines as well!
